'JUDGE WILCOXSON WINS 56% OF THE VOTE
AND WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE VAN ZANDT COUNTY!'

To the People of Pct 3, Van Zandt County
I would like to say 'thank you' to each person who supported me on November 7th. Another four years serving the constituents of Precinct 3 and Van Zandt County will be a pleasure and an honor. My entire life has been filled by interacting with people from all walks of life. My commitment is no less now than it has been over the years and my pledge to everyone is that I will not be serving in this position as a "lame duck" justice of the peace. In past elections, there have been some who said that I have been in office too long. Folks, your Justices of the Peace (all four of us) are out there "where the action is" and experience is very important in order to do a good job for the people. As always, I still have an open door policy and I am still willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done!
Again, I appreciate and thank you for your trust and support by re-electing me as your JP, in Pct. 3!

'Judges must always be just in their sentences, not noticing whether a person is poor or rich; they must always be perfectly fair,'

Leviticus 19:15

I sincerely pray that I have made a difference for good in the lives of some people with whom I have come in contact these past years as Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3, Van Zandt County. One important thing I have learned is that good people can get in trouble, and there are times when they just need someone to care and to listen, without condemning them.

I believe that my life's work has prepared me for the role of Justice of the Peace, whether it was a short position just after high school or positions I held for many years. The lessons I have learned from each career choice have led me to the person I am today. I have always believed that the Justice of the Peace courts are the ‘People’s Courts,’ and should be run by a judge who has the best interest of the people of this precinct at heart.
